A NICE WEEKEND

Sophia drove from Canberra to Sydney on Sat to visit her Nan and then dropped by my place for an overnight stay... it was really good to have her over.

Sat: Met her up and had dinner, then went for the Mardi Gras Parade. After that, we went to a pub in Darling Habour for drinks till about midnight and then headed down to Pancakes on The Rocks for dessert. I have to say that Sydney is so much like Singapore... at 2am, the city is still bustling with heaps of people!!! I like it.

Sunday: Slept in and then went to Chinatown for Yum Cha. The food was slightly disappointing but if you never try, you never know. After which, we headed of to a chinese bakery to buy some buns and stuff... We also managed to do some shopping before she headed back to Canberra.

As for apartment hunting, its getting really tough. You get a very wide variety of real estate agents... nice, lazy, hardworking, lying, pushy, inefficient, nasty etc. Anyway, I've currently got two on my short list and John and myself decided its either one or the other so we're going to have to push for it and put a deposite if we are satisfied!!

One of them is going for $420. It is fully furnished, 5-10mins walk to John's work, spa, pool, gym, table tennis table and sauna.

The other one is also the same price. The aparmtne block is very very grand, similar to a five star hotel type entrance. It is also fully furnished, 15mins walk to John's work, spa, pool, gym and sauna. The gym in this place compared to the other is much bigger and better equipped and the pool is a proper lap pool. The location is slightly remote but yet still close.

Anyway, going to view the latter today and hopefully, the first one sometime early this week. Thats all for now. =)
